Trauma and Hope is a private, outpatient practice in Springfield, Virginia. It was founded in 2015 and provides a variety of service throughout Northern Virginia focusing on clinical assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents, and adults. Trauma and Hope provides private mental health treatment for a range of problems including depression, anxiety, conduct, problem sexual behaviors, trauma and bipolar disorder. We offer a number of treatments services including home based therapy, individual, family and group therapy. Trauma and Hope is an approved CSA and DJJ provider through a number of agencies in Northern Virginia.
Mental wellbeing is a broad term which includes (depression, anxiety and stress), and can be hard to define when it is having a negative impact upon the quality of an individual’s life. Therefore, it may be difficult and a daunting experience to understand the complex nature of not only a mental health disorder but also treatment. The dedicated therapists at Trauma and Hope are committed to providing the highest quality of care to help individuals overcome a wide range of mental illness conditions.
Psychiatric problems can be successfully treated, and our professional and highly skilled teams are able to provide you with advice, support and therapeutic techniques designed to suit the individual needs. Using an extensive range of therapy method, you will learn effective coping strategies which will enable you to manage and overcome your mental health disorder and move forward to achieve a more fulfilled and positive life. All treatments are flexible to meet your needs and personal circumstances. This also means that we can tailor specific “dual diagnosis” programs for individuals with a drug or alcohol addiction, or an eating disorder in addition to a mental illness.
As part of our commitment to the well being of our clientele, Trauma and Hope now offers Telehealth Services for all the programs we offer. Telehealth, as defined by the Health Resources and Services Administration of the Department of Health and Human Services, is the use of electronic information and telecommunications technologies to support and promote long-distance clinical health care, patient and professional health-related education, and public health and health administration. Trauma and Hope Telehealth Services allows for direct communication with clients via videoconferencing through a variety of services which are HIPPA compliant.
